Manga and America

Manga has become popular in America today. A manga is nothing but the Japanese made comics that are read backwards. Unlike the normal comics however these comics are read by adults as well as the teen ages to whom these comics generally target. The comics deal with delicate themes like death, sexuality and other adult themes that require a more mature reader to read than just the normal school kids’ crowd. Due to the popularity of the manga today, many companies are licensing these mangas so that they can cash in on the popularity of these mangas when they become available in the states. However, many of these titles are available online and the companies are trying their best to have the titles that are licensed removed from these sites. This has created quite a stir among the manga community all over the United States of America.
